Leonard was the devoted son of Hershel and Virginia Higginbotham, who predeceased him, along with several brothers and sisters. His life was marked by the enduring love he shared with his family. Leonard first found love and companionship with his wife Margarette, to whom he was married for 12 and a half years. Later, he found joy and partnership with Janet Higginbotham, with whom he shared 34 beautiful years before her passing. As a father, Leonard was a guiding light to his five children: Carlos, Leonard, Kathy Beeson, Jason, and Anna Hare. His legacy of love extends further through his 29 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life.
