In Loving Memory

Leonard Flowers Jr
March 5, 1959 — April 4, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Leonard Flowers Jr., a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and fiancé. Leonard departed this earth on April 4, 2026, at the age of 67. Born on March 5, 1959, in San Jose, California, Leonard lived a life filled with love, laughter, and dedication to his family and passions.
Leonard was the cherished son of the late Viola and Leonard Flowers, and the loving brother of the late Gerald Stanley Spry. He is survived by his devoted sister, Linda Spry Cain, who remembers him fondly as a constant source of strength and joy.
Leonard's legacy continues through his son, Richard, and his wife Elicia, and his stepdaughter, Christina, and her husband Fredric Nicolas. Leonard was a proud grandfather to four grandchildren: Little Richard, Emilio, Reyna, and Leah, and he adored his two great-grandchildren, who brought him endless delight.
A man of many talents and interests, Leonard dedicated his career to working as an auto mechanic and ranch hand. His hands were skilled and strong, always ready to fix what was broken and nurture the land he loved. Outside of work, Leonard found peace and purpose in his hobby of Native American beading, a craft he pursued with passion and precision. His affinity for working with horses was well-known and brought him immense happiness.
Leonard possessed a magnetic personality, known for his humor, intelligence, and striking handsomeness. His greatest gift was his ability to make everyone around him feel loved and welcomed. Whether sharing a hearty laugh or offering a listening ear, Leonard had a way of touching lives that left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
In his final years, Leonard found love once more with his fiancé, Elizabeth. Their bond was a testament to the enduring nature of love, and together they shared beautiful moments filled with hope and happiness.
Leonard's spirit will live on in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege to know him. His laughter, kindness, and the warmth of his presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.
A celebration of Leonard's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory and share stories of the joy he brought into their lives. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Leonard's name to a charity of your choice, celebrating his generous nature and love for helping others.
Rest in peace, dear Leonard. Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
