Leon Michael Aspen

Leon was born in Appleton, Wisconsin on Aug 3, 1959. He was preceded in death by his parents Lois (Aspen) Bleck and Leonard Aspen, his sister Luann Aspen, and brother Louie Aspen. Leon married Stephanie (Crist) Aspen, the love of his life, on November 16, 1990, in Glendale OR, eventually moving his family to Wasilla AK. Leon loved the outdoors, loved fishing, camping, and being with family, playing games, especially cribbage, which he won more often then not. He is survived by his beloved wife Stephanie Aspen, brothers and sisters, Linda, Lonnie (wife-Loretta), Laurie (husband-Richard), Joan (husband-Frank), his children Michael Aspen, Michael Schaffer, April Paddie (husband--Scott), Sara Hutchings, Amber Richey (husband-Taylor) and Vanessa Ericksen (husband-Jason), nieces, nephews and many very loved grandchildren . They were the bright spot in his life-Alyssa, Kayley, Kinzey, Veronika, Gage, Kasey, Carson, Quinn, Teely, Sierra and Destiny. Leon requested no service, but that donations be made to American Cancer Society.
