Celebrating the Life of Leola D. Alston It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Leola D. Alston, who left this world on April 28, 2026 surrounded by the love of her family. Born the only girl on January 31st, 1952, in Milwaukee, WI, Leola graced us with her presence for 74 wonderful years, during which her spirit and love touched countless lives. Leola was the cherished daughter of Elizabeth Thomas and Percy White. She will preceded in death by her parents ,and brothers who undoubtedly welcomed her into their arms with open hearts. Leola is survived by her devoted brother George E. white , her loving children Allen (Charlene) Rogers Jr., Tanya Rogers , Dominique (Mario) Curlee, her angel Ella Alston. A bountiful legacy that includes 10 grandchildren Aeril Greer-Rogers , Michelle Greer, Allen Rogers , Devonte Rogers, Finesse Greer-Rogers, Shalonte Lewis , John Lewis, Mario curlee jr , Martavious Curlee , Mallaya Rogers. 7 great-grandchildren, Terrence Bell jr, De’zie Davis , De’lyn Davis , Lo’ryn Roberson , Azais Roberson , Mateo Rogers, Amor Rogers-Mcmillon , and a host of extended family members who will forever hold her memory dear. In her early years Leola gave her life to Christ she was catholic, Leola pursued her education at John Marshall high school in Milwaukee wi , where she received her high school diploma. Her professional journey led her to a fulfilling career in healthcare and culinary arts (cooking) where her warm demeanor and tireless dedication made her a beacon of hope and healing for those in need. Leola's heart truly belonged to the great outdoors. She possessed a profound love for nature, and the lake was her sanctuary. Whether it was a gentle breeze on a summer's day or the serene sound of water lapping at the shore, these moments brought her immense joy. However, nothing delighted her more than spending time with her family, who were the very center of her universe. Her home was often filled with laughter, love, and the aroma of home-cooked meals, as multiple generations gathered to celebrate life's simple pleasures. Leola was blessed to share a beautiful journey in marriage with the love of her life Andre Alston. Together, they crafted a life rich in love, marked by unwavering support and companionship. Leola was one of a kind, and she meant everything to her family she will be truly missed! Leola D. Alston's life was a testament to the power of love, resilience, and community. While her physical presence will be deeply missed, her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us, reminding us all to cherish every moment, love unconditionally, and find beauty in the world around us.
