Leo Henry Trenkamp

Leo Henry Trenkamp, 87, of Taylor Mill, KY, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2026. He was a member of St. Anthony Parish in Taylor Mill, KY, and a member of Moose Lodge #1469 in Taylor Mill, KY. Leo was a commercial and residential HVAC technician for many years before retirement. He volunteered for many church and community organizations throughout the years, including Boy Scout Troop #733 Leader. Leo was an avid golfer and a Jack of all trades who was often referred to as "Mr. Fix-It". Leo's home was a favorite stop on Halloween as he was known for handing out his famous popcorn. He was preceded in death by his parents: Ferd and Angela Trenkamp; son: Dennis A. Trenkamp and siblings: Donald (Mimi) Trenkamp, Carroll (Cindy) Trenkamp, Pamela (Dave) Finan and Anita (Roger) Vickers. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years: Ginny
Trenkamp; children: Gary L. (Brenda) Trenkamp, Barbara A. (Robert) DeVault, Richard T. Trenkamp and Amy L. (Daniel) Hoard; siblings: Ferd (late: Dorothy) Trenkamp, James (late: Dorothy) Trenkamp, David (Cheryl) Trenkamp, Melanie Trenkamp and Elizabeth "Betty" Trenkamp; 11 grandchildren: Holly, Nick, DJ, Michelle, Brian, Robby, Sara, Daniel, Darren, Ashley and Justin and 16 great-grandchildren Austin, Ava, Emma, Olivia, Leo II, Parker, Harlee, Lincoln, Sawyer, Mitchell, Emmett, Forrest, Cameron, Chase, Carter and Cole.
Visitation will take place on Friday, July 3, 2026 from 10:00 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM (Noon) at St. Anthony Church, 485 Grand Avenue, Taylor Mill, KY 41015. Interment will follow at Mother of God Cemetery in Fort Wright, KY.
