LEONORA WINN

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Leonora Winn, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who earned her wings on August 14, 2026. Born on February 27, 1956, in the city of Niagara Falls, New York, Leonora was the beloved daughter of Pearlie Mea Ross and J.P. Palmer. She was blessed with a life filled with love, laughter, and countless memories. Leonora was preceded in death by her dear siblings Sargent Palmer, Inez Gregory, Jimmy Palmer, Geraldine Palmer, and her precious daughters Cynthia Banks and Santana Winn. Her enduring love and memory will live on in the hearts of her surviving family: her devoted husband of 35 years, George D. Winn Jr., and their children Consuela Palmer, Quatina Lewis, Chiquita Gibbs, Tasheca (Brandon)Holland, George Winn III, Marquis Winn, Jessica Winn, and Crystal Winn. Leonora is also survived by her siblings Herman (late Anita) Palmer and Tasha Palmer. A proud graduate of Trott Vocational School, Leonora began her career as a hairstylist at the Niagara Hairstyling School, where she honored her ability to make everyone feel beautiful and cherished. She later dedicated many years as a healthcare worker with HANCI, and spent 15 years at Sentrx Security and also her and her husband owned a business called White Glove Mobile Detailing for 15 years. Her life's work was defined by a commitment to care and service, and her warmth touched all who knew her. Leonora's personal joys were as varied as the seasons came and went. She loved fishing, barbecuing,cooking big family meals and spending precious time with her grandchildren—a testament to her nurturing spirit. Her green thumb was evident in her love for gardening, and she was known to create cherished CDs and movies that brought joy to her family and friends. Leonora had a rare gift for making everyone feel welcome and loved, a quality that endeared her to all who crossed her path. She leaves behind a legacy of love in her 28 grandchildren, including Javon, Christopher Hilson, Anthony Riley, Octavia (Clifford)Collier, Darius Washington, Donald, Devonte, Deshaun, Dmario, Dandre Handley, Demia Prather, Cherish McClain Sariah, Ronald, Caleb, Ta'Shya Carter, Leonora, Sargent, Jason, Sa'Yvon Harris, Micheal Bazile, Aiden Fritts, Zyion, Genesis James, Jamer Smith, Jaxon Thomas, Kerry Winn, A'Monie, Marquis, Monte, Javon, William Winn, also 22 great-grandchildren and 2 great great grand children And a host of nieces,nephews,family members and friends A celebration of Lenora's life will be held on August 24, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Williamson Funeral Home, located at 635 Main Street. May Leonora's soul find eternal peace, and may her memory be a blessing to all who knew her. Her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of her family and friends, and she will be dearly missed.
