With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Lena Mae Lipson, a beloved wife, devoted mother, cherished sister, and treasured friend. Lena departed this world on April 21, 2026, at the age of 43. Her life, though too brief, was a luminous testament to love, resilience, and unwavering dedication to family and community. Born on October 27, 1982, in the vibrant city of Memphis, Tennessee, Lena was the cherished daughter of the late Betty Jean Williams and Christie Lee Nash. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, as well as her dear family members Bettina and Clifton Jontae Williams. Yet, in the face of such loss, Lena's spirit remained unbroken, a beacon of strength to those who knew her. Lena's life was a tapestry woven with threads of love and laughter, grounded in her profound commitment to her family. For 15 beautiful years, she shared a life filled with joy and adventure with her husband, Travanti Shermone Lipson. Together, they built a home filled with warmth and kindness, nurturing their five remarkable children: Kamille Skye Lipson, Daphne, Elijah Nicoll, Travanti Jr (affectionately known as TJ), Harmony Danese Lipson, and Erin Jeanette Lipson. Her children were her pride and joy, each one a testament to the love and values she instilled in them. As a sister, Lena was a guiding light and confidante to her siblings: Crystal, Danesha, Dee, Lecreshia, Tahlia, Amber, Nina, Kayla, Wyatt, Megan, and BJ. Her presence was a constant source of support and joy, and her laughter could light up the darkest of days. Lena's life was further enriched by the presence of her grandchild, who brought an abundance of joy and renewed purpose into her life. She embraced her role as a grandmother with the same love and devotion that characterized every aspect of her being. In her community, Lena was known for her compassionate spirit and her unwavering commitment to helping others. She touched countless lives with her generosity and kindness, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. In accordance with Lena's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor her memory. Though her physical presence has left us, her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she loved. As we say goodbye to Lena Mae Lipson, we celebrate a life well-lived, marked by unconditional love, indomitable strength, and an enduring legacy.
