In Loving Memory

Lemonte Hereford
September 30, 1960 — October 10, 2026
Lemonte Hereford, a beloved husband, father, and friend, departed this life on October 10, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter that will forever be cherished by all who knew him. Born on September 30, 1960, in Nashville Davidson, Tennessee, Lemonte was the cherished son of Vivian Joan Hereford and Samuel Henry Graham.
Lemonte’s life was a tapestry woven with the love and guidance of his family. He was predeceased by his parents, his brother Reginald Hereford, and his two sisters, Dorthy and Lucille Graham. His spirit, however, lives on in the hearts of those who survive him: his devoted wife, Peaches Hereford; his treasured children, daughter Janari Hereford and son Lemonte Craighead; and many other family members and friends who were touched by his generosity and kindness.
Educated in the Nashville public schools, Lemonte was a man of intelligence and integrity. His sense of duty and service led him to join the United States Army, where he served his country with honor and distinction. Following his military service, Lemonte demonstrated his entrepreneurial spirit as a self-employed professional, a career path that allowed him to touch the lives of many with his dedication and work ethic.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Andrew Hereford, who was not only a cousin but a brother to Lemonte, and to Martina, a special friend whose support and kindness will never be forgotten.
In memory of Lemonte, the family kindly suggests donations be made to a charity of choice, reflecting Lemonte's own spirit of giving and compassion.
As we celebrate Lemonte’s life, we are reminded of the warmth and joy he brought into our lives. His laughter, wisdom, and unwavering love will continue to inspire us, reminding us of the beauty in every moment.
In lieu of flowers, the family of Lemonte Hereford welcomes donations to a charity, nonprofit, church, or organization of your choosing.
