It is with profound sadness and heartfelt reverence that we announce the passing of our beloved Lefu Samuel Kokota, who peacefully departed this world on February 15, 2026. Born on June 1, 1975, in the serene town of Mashaeng, Stationing, Fouriesburg, Lefu's life was a tapestry woven with love, dedication, and unwavering commitment to his family and community.
Lefu was the cherished son of the late Ntatet Tokelo and Mme Madineo Kokota, and was preceded in death by his 12 siblings, whose memories he held dear. He is survived by his loving family, Ditloholo Tse Supileng, Le Ngwetsi Le Mokgwenyana, and seven adoring great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to his life.
He shared a beautiful life journey with his beloved wife, Maria Kokota, who preceded him in eternal rest. Their union was blessed with love, respect, and a legacy of compassion. Lefu and Maria's love was a beacon of hope and strength for all who knew them.
Lefu's educational journey began at Phaphama School, and he successfully completed his studies in Ficksburg. His thirst for knowledge and dedication to personal growth were evident throughout his life. His career was marked by dedication and service; he began his professional journey with Spoornet, later contributing significantly to Mashaeng Funeral Parlour and Global Zing. Lefu's work was not just a job but a calling to serve others, a testament to his generous spirit and commitment to his community.
A service to celebrate Lefu's remarkable life will be held on February 15, 2026, at 7:30 AM, at 217 Zola, Masheng, Fouriesburg. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Lefu are invited to join in honoring a life well-lived.
In the words of his family, "Robala ka kgotso Lefu Samuel Kokota, hobane mosebetsi oo Modimo ana o bileditse ona o ophetile." Rest in peace, dear Lefu, for the work that God called you to complete has indeed been fulfilled.
