Lee was the cherished child of Arlette and Jimmy Lee Murphy, who instilled in them the values of kindness and resilience that defined their character. Growing up in Dayton, Lee shared a vibrant childhood with siblings Evon, Pamela, John, and George, all of whom have predeceased them, along with beloved daughter LeeAnn Murphy, son Jimmy Junior, granddaughter LeeAsisa Murphy, and great-granddaughter Bella Marie Murphy. Despite the many losses endured, Lee remained a pillar of strength for the family, always offering a listening ear and a warm embrace.
Throughout their life, Lee was a devoted partner to Jemla Murphy, with whom they shared countless beautiful memories and a partnership built on love and mutual respect. Together, they crafted a home filled with laughter, warmth, and unwavering support, a testament to their enduring love and commitment to one another.
A proud and loving grandparent, Lee was blessed with one grandchild and one great-grandchild, whose visits always brought a twinkle to their eye and a smile to their heart.
