Lee Andrew Sims

Lee Andrew Sims, a cherished son, brother, father, cousin, uncle and friend, who left this world too soon on July 14, 2026. Born on February 11, 1981, at Our Lady of Lords Hospital in Pasco, Washington, to Carol Sims and Lee Davis. Lee was the second born child who lived a life filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to his family and friends. From a very young age is when he started his travel to Texas and Louisiana and from there on all who knew him he traveled the world and had the most fun doing it til the end. With that infectious smile and was full of joy all of the time. Lee was a devoted son to his parents, Lee Davis and Carol Sims, who nurtured his love for life and family values. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Calvin Sims, and grandmother, Ethel Davis, whose legacy of warmth and kindness he carried forward in his life. Lee was especially close to his beloved Gram, Mrs. Dora Sims, the Matriarch of this family. He leaves to cherish his memories three precious children, Saneeya, JaQuan, and Jaloni, who were the center of his universe and his greatest pride. Lee was also extremely close to his brothers Jamar (Amanda), Daylon (Antwanea), Louis (Verniece), James Davis and sister Le'Andra Davis. He has a host of aunts, uncles nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many friends. A proud alumnus of Pasco High, Lee excelled in sports, particularly basketball and football, and his athletic prowess was a testament to the All-Star spirit that runs through the Sims family. His talent and dedication on the field were matched by his tenacity and work ethic in his professional life. Lee spent a decade as an Insulator for Hanford in Richland, Washington, and also worked in Boise, Idaho, as a Sheet Metalist and Boise Cascade as a Construction worker. He was always striving for greater heights to provide for his loved ones. Lee was a member of the HFIAW Local 120 and took great pride in his work with the International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers. His commitment to his craft was only surpassed by his passion for the great outdoors. With a green thumb inherited from his grandfather, Lee could grow everything from beans, green to tomatoes, and his care for his chickens and fish was a reflection of his nurturing spirit. His loyal companions, Classy and King, were much more than protectors; they were part of his family. Lee's character was as vibrant as the sunshine he brought into the lives of those around him. Known for his quick wit and infectious smile, he had a remarkable ability to make others feel valued and welcome. His kindness and grace left a lasting impact on everyone he met, and his memory will be cherished by all who knew him. We couldn't have asked for a better son, grandson,brother, nephew,uncle, cousin, parent, friend, confidant, co-worker etc. Lee had that style for dress looking real dapper and debonair. Lee will truly be missed and loved by all and his legacy and memories will live on in our hearts forever.
