Born on October 21, 1936, in Brooklyn, New York, Learleen lived a full life marked by love, resilience, and an unwavering dedication to her family and friends. Learleen was the treasured daughter of the late Carol and David Davis, and the devoted wife of the late Clearance Davis, with whom she shared 48 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, love, and numerous cherished memories. Learleen was a loving mother and was predeceased by her dear son, Mark Davis. Her family was her greatest pride, and she found immense joy in being a grandmother to four grandchildren and a great-grandmother to eight great-grandchildren, including her beloved granddaughter Tawanna Gordon and grandson Odean Gordon. Learleen's life was a testament to kindness and generosity. She was known for her open heart and her ability to make everyone feel welcome and loved. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth, where family and friends gathered for countless celebrations and simple moments of togetherness. Learleen's legacy is one of strength, compassion, and an indomitable spirit that inspired all who knew her. Those who had the privilege of knowing Learleen will remember her for her infectious laughter, her wisdom, and her unwavering faith. She was a guiding light and a source of comfort and strength to many. Her love for life and her family was evident in everything she did, and her positive influence will be felt for generations to come. A service to honor and celebrate Learleen's remarkable life will be held on August 20, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., at Harmony Funeral Home, located at 200 Clarendon Rd, Brooklyn, NY 11226. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Learleen are warmly invited to attend and pay their respects. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Learleen's memory. This gesture will continue her legacy of compassion and support for those in need, a cause close to her heart throughout her life.
