Leah Hagen, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2026, at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lewiston, Idaho, due to congestive heart failure. Born on August 30, 1943, in the quaint town of Electric City, Washington, Leah was the cherished daughter of Harold and Elda Gilliam. She lived a life rich in love, laughter, and music, leaving behind a legacy that will resonate in the hearts of those who knew her. Leah was a vibrant soul, renowned for her gleeful sense of humor and infectious laughter that could light up any room. Her love for music was a central part of her life. A talented pianist, she spent countless hours composing her own music and sharing her gift with others. For over 20 years, Leah was an active and dedicated member of the Orchards Church of the Nazarene, where she joyfully served the Lord in the music ministry, playing the piano for services and events. Her passion for music often brought her together with friends and local musicians, creating a community bound by melody and harmony. Her family was the cornerstone of her life. Leah found immense joy in spending time with her sons, Eldon and Galen, and her sisters, Jean, Vicky and Kay, and her brothers Larry and Elvin. Her family gatherings were often filled with music, song and prayer, capturing Leah’s spirit of joy and togetherness. Leah was predeceased by her loving parents, Harold and Elda Gilliam, her brothers Elvin and Larry Gilliam, and her sister Vickey. She is survived by her cherished sons, Eldon and Galen, her loving sisters Jean and Kay, and her beloved granddaughter Cori. Her family and friends will remember her as a beacon of light and joy, whose laughter and music filled their lives with warmth and happiness. A celebration of Leah's life will be held on May 19, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Orchards Church of the Nazarene, located at 347 Thain Rd, Lewiston, Idaho. The family invites all who knew Leah to join them in honoring her life and the beautiful legacy she leaves behind. The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at Garfield County Hospitals Memory Manor. Their years of dedicated care and the love they showered upon Leah brought her comfort and peace. The family is eternally grateful for their compassion and support.
