In Loving Memory

Layla Hollin Graham
March 15, 2010 — May 26, 2026
With profound sadness and tender hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Layla Hollin Graham, who left this world peacefully on May 26, 2026, in the loving embrace of her father. Born on March 15, 2010, in Kennesaw, Georgia, Layla's life, though brief, was a radiant testament to courage, joy, and an unyielding spirit.
Layla was the cherished daughter of Kerry and Maria Graham. She was a devoted sister to her brother, Maddux Graham. Layla's roots ran deep, enriched by the love of her grandparents, Jack and Priscilla Kinchen, and Bill Mahaffey, and Renee Mahaffey who has also passed on. Her aunts and uncles, Kevin Graham, Kerin Graham, Kelly Vining, and Stacy Mahaffey, along with her dear cousins Graham, Hannah, Jaxsen, Jessica, Xander, Gabriel, Max, JoJo, and Harper, were integral threads in the tapestry of her life.
From the moment Layla graced the world, she embodied a spirit of resilience and happiness. Layla was the biggest fighter, fearlessly navigating the challenges of Batten Disease with a courage that inspired all who knew her. Her laughter was infectious, and her smile was a beacon of light in the lives of those around her. Despite her battles, Layla remained a very happy girl, always finding joy in the simplest of pleasures.
Music was Layla's language of the heart, a source of comfort and delight. She found solace in her favorite shows, where her imagination could soar. Layla was truly a water baby, finding her greatest happiness at the pool or the beach, where the gentle embrace of water seemed to mirror her own gentle spirit.
Layla's life will be celebrated with a service on June 13, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Family and friends will gather at Boxwood Social Hall, located at 18 Whitlock Avenue, Marietta, GA 30064, to honor her memory and the indelible impact she made during her time with us.
Though Layla's time on earth was far too short, her legacy of love, bravery, and enduring happiness will continue to inspire and comfort those who had the privilege of knowing her. As we bid farewell to our sweet angel, we cherish the memories of her sparkling eyes, her infectious laughter, and the profound way she touched our hearts.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Layla's memory to organizations dedicated to fighting Batten Disease, in hopes of bringing light to others who face similar journeys.
Layla Hollin Graham's spirit will forever be a guiding light, reminding us of the beauty of a life lived with courage and joy.
