Lawrence Duane Allen, a deeply cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on August 27, 2026, surrounded by the loving presence of his family. Born on January 17, 1956, in Cedar Fork, Missouri the son of the late Vallie Allen and Evelyn McGowan. Lawrence was a beacon of strength, kindness, and unwavering dedication to those he loved.
On October 20, 1979, Lawrence married the love of his life, Tina. Together, they forged a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support. They built a family that became the center of Lawrence's world. He was a proud and devoted father to five children: Jodye (Gene)Powers, Jennifer AuBuchon, Kristie (Bobby)Burke, Jason Allen, and Kayla (Tristan)Dollar. His legacy continues through his 14 grandchildren: Braedon, Karissa, Evan, Alyssa, Tanner, Jacob, Shawn, Kaitlyn, Autumn, Devon, Jadyn, Bryson, Aubree, and Blake, as well as his five great-grandchildren: Finley, Kylar, Carson, Axeton, and Viollette. Duane is survived by his 4 sister's: Kim(Roger) Sample, Susan(Stacey) Cawyer, Brenda Allen and Valerie Ettien. He is proceeded in death by 2 brothers: Micheal Allen and Rick McGowan.
He served his country with pride as a Combat Engineer of the National Guard, embodying the values of duty and honor. His service was a testament to his commitment to protecting the freedom and wellbeing of others.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Serenity Hospice for their compassionate care and support during Lawrence's final days.

A celebration of life will be held on September 5,2026 at True Connection Church in Festus. The church doors will open at 10 am and the service at noon. We will have a luncheon immediately after for all to join.
