In Loving Memory of Lawanda Trenetta Jackson "Peaches"
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lawanda Trenetta Jackson, affectionately known to many as "Peaches," who left this world on September 15, 2026. Born on June 27, 1982, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fayette, MS, Peaches graced our lives with her warmth, laughter, and unwavering love.
Peaches was a cherished daughter of Haven and Annie Mae Jackson, who survive her, and she was lovingly embraced by her siblings Bobby, Terisha, Carlos, Falisha, Kelvin, and Constance (Mark Wade). Her legacy of love and joy continues through her beloved children Ja’Keira, Coriah, Braylen, and Braxton. She also leaves behind a aunts, uncles and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, who were all touched by her kindness and generosity.
Her family finds solace in knowing that she is now reunited with those who preceded her in death, including her paternal grandparents Carrine and Proby Jackson, maternal grandparents Freddis Lee and L.S. Wilkinson, and many beloved uncles, aunts and a nephew.
Peaches attended Franklin County High School, followed by Southwest Community College, where she earned an associate degree. She built a commendable career as an Insurance Claims Representative for Allstate, where her professionalism and dedication were deeply valued.
From a young age, Peaches was a member of Oak Grove Community Church, a place where her faith flourished and her spirit was nurtured. Her joy for life was evident in her love for traveling, shopping, and sharing hearty laughs with family and friends.
The Jackson family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to those who have shown their support through expressions of love, cards, concerns, telephone calls, and acts of kindness during this difficult time. May God bless each of you for your compassion and thoughtfulness.
Peaches, your radiant smile and loving heart will forever be missed, but your spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know you.
