LaVonna Richey

March 6, 1990 — June 7, 2026

In loving memory of LaVonna Richey, who graced this world with her presence from March 6, 1990, to June 7, 2026. Born in Jeffersonville, Indiana, LaVonna was a beacon of love and warmth, touching the lives of all she encountered with her gentle spirit and compassionate heart. Her journey, though tragically brief, was filled with moments that will forever be cherished by those who knew her. LaVonna was the beloved daughter of Buddy and Stephanie Richey, who instilled in her the values of kindness and resilience. She was a devoted mother to her cherished children, Dakota, Skylar, and Easton, who were the light of her life and her greatest source of pride and joy. Her love for them was boundless and unconditional, and her legacy will live on in their hearts. She shared a special bond with her sister, Heather, and brother-in-law, Matthew Rudolph, and was a beloved aunt to her niece, Lexy, and nephew, Jaxon. LaVonna's familial ties were strong, and she found immense joy in the time spent with her family, creating memories that will be treasured forever. LaVonna was preceded in death by her grandparents, Everitt Ray and Wanda Arbuckle, and Sonny (Clifford) Richey, whose wisdom and love she carried with her throughout her life. Her passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her spirit will continue to inspire those she left behind. Her journey in this world concluded peacefully at home, surrounded by love and comfort. Though our hearts are heavy with the loss, we find solace in knowing that LaVonna's spirit now rests in eternal peace. A celebration of LaVonna's life will be held on June 13, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home. Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance of a remarkable woman whose kindness and grace touched us all. As we bid farewell to LaVonna, we hold onto the memories of her laughter, her warmth, and her unwavering love. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten, as we carry her legacy forward in our hearts. Rest in peace, dear LaVonna. Your light will continue to shine brightly in our lives and in the lives of those you have touched.
