Lavette was born to Minnie Weekfall, who, along with her siblings Cecilll and Keya Weekfall, predeceased her, creating a profound legacy of love and resilience that Lavette continued to embody throughout her life. Her journey was marked by her unwavering kindness, her encouraging words, and her radiant smile, which could light up the darkest of days. Known for her signature "One Two Step," Lavette brought joy and rhythm wherever she went, leaving trails of laughter and fond memories. Her legacy of love and compassion is carried on by her children: daughters Lakela Jones, Lakena Jones, and Zaybrielle Graham, and her son, Keno Weekfall. Each of them a testament to her nurturing spirit and boundless love. Lavette was not only a devoted mother but also a cherished sister to her brother, Jerry Weekfall, who stood by her side through life’s many adventures. Lavette's circle of love extended beyond her family, encompassing dear friends Jackie and Charles.
