Lauryn was a cherished daughter to Mary and Mark Burgess, who survive her. Her spirit lives on in her children, and in the hearts of her close friends, who will forever remember her kindness and her ability to lift the spirits of those around her. Though she faced the profound loss of her infant daughter, Grace, and her dear sister, Nessa, Lauryn's resilience and warmth inspired those who knew her. As a graduate of nursing school, Lauryn dedicated her life to caring for others. Her passion for service extended beyond her professional life, as she joyously worked at a daycare, finding fulfillment in nurturing young minds. She was an active member of the First Assembly of God, where she found solace and community. Lauryn's legacy is one of love, laughter, and an enduring commitment to making the world a better place. Her playful nature and ability to bring joy to others will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. A private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Lauryn's life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in her memory. As her family lovingly shares, Lauryn will be "Forever in our hearts." May her spirit continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
