Lauren Nichole Romanok

Lauren Nichole Romanok, a cherished soul whose warmth and kindness touched all who knew her, passed away on October 30, 2026. Born on October 28, 1988, in Ocala, Florida, Lauren lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication to her family and community. Lauren was the beloved daughter of Susan Romanok and Randy Smith. Her radiant spirit was a beacon of light to those around her. She was known for her infectious smile that could brighten even the darkest of days. Lauren's generous heart and nurturing spirit made her a beloved friend and confidante to many. As the ultimate sports mom, Lauren was a constant presence on the sidelines, cheering enthusiastically and always armed with snacks for her son, Kolton's, games. She was not just a mother; she was Kolton's biggest supporter and his guiding star. Her commitment to her son's education and extracurricular activities saw her serving as the FAA president during his middle school years, a role she embraced with passion and dedication. Lauren's love for nature was evident in her joy of selecting plants for her mother, Susan, to grow. This shared bond over gardening was just one of the many ways Lauren expressed her love and care for her family. Her nurturing nature extended beyond her immediate family, as she cultivated relationships with many other loving family members who now carry her memory in their hearts. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of one's choice, honoring Lauren's spirit of generosity and compassion. Lauren Nichole Romanok's legacy will forever be cherished by her son, Kolton, her mother, Susan, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her beautiful soul will continue to inspire acts of kindness and love, just as she did throughout her life.
