Laura left this world peacefully on July 14, 2026, at the Hospice of East Texas, surrounded by the love and warmth of her family. She was 76 years old. Born on October 16, 1949, in the charming town of Lindale, Texas, Laura was a vibrant spirit with a generous heart. She was a cherished daughter to her parents and a beacon of joy to everyone around her. After graduating from Tyler Commercial College in 1979, Laura embarked on a career that showcased her innate ability to connect with people. She began as a Customer Service Representative at United Cable, where her kindness and dedication made a lasting impact on both colleagues and customers alike. Laura's entrepreneurial spirit led her to become the owner of Classic Coach and Carriage Limousine Service, where she played a pivotal role in the lives of countless couples and families celebrating their special occasions. Her leadership skills shone brightly as she took on the presidency of Tyler’s Best wedding vendors, effortlessly finding the perfect person for every job and ensuring every event was nothing short of extraordinary. Her greatest joy, however, came from the love she shared with her family. Laura was the devoted wife of Wayne Ellison, her partner of 58 beautiful years. Their enduring love and unwavering support for each other were an inspiration to all who knew them. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, adventure, and countless cherished memories. Laura's heart was further filled with love as a grandmother. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchild, bringing her joy and wisdom to the next generation. Her legacy of love, compassion, and kindness will continue to live on through her family and all those she touched. In her leisure time, Laura found happiness in the simple pleasures of life, enjoying moments spent with friends and family. Her warm smile and infectious laughter will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. To honor Laura's remarkable life, a visitation will be held at Boren Conner Funeral Home in Bullard, Texas, on July 22, 2026, at 1:00 PM, followed by a service at 2:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate and remember the wonderful woman she was and the incredible legacy she leaves behind. Laura Louise Ellison will forever be remembered for her boundless love, her unwavering strength, and her incredible zest for life. She will be deeply missed, yet her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
