With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of Laura Marie Lopez, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Laura left this world wrapped in warmth of family and friends leaving of love and laughter.
Born on November 15, 1950, in Casa Grande, Arizona. Laura was the cherished daughter of Filiberto and Mercedes Lopez, and she carried forward the love and resilience instilled in her by her parents. Her life was enriched by her strong family ties, and she remained deeply connected to her roots in Arizona. Laura was predeceased by her beloved parents Filiberto and Mercedes Lopez, her siblings Rebecca Lopez, and her dear sister Elenor Zaragoza, brothers Carlos Lopez, Filiberto Lopez Jr and Filiberto Lopez.
A proud graduate of Casa Grande Union High School, Laura carried her school spirit throughout her life. She was a nurturing soul who always put the needs of others first. Her compassionate nature touched many, and she left a lasting impact on her community and everyone she met.
Laura's life was filled with joy and laughter, especially when she was with her family. She was the devoted mother of Reina Bolen, Jennifer Bolen, and Carlos Coronado, and the proud grandmother of twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Laura's heart was full of love for her family, and she adored spending time with them, creating cherished memories that will be held dear for generations.
Her siblings, Virginia Myers of Coolidge, Arizona; Tersa Clark of Blythe, California; Carmen Fasig of Michigan; David Lopez of Gardenia, California; and Robert Lopez of Jalisco, Mexico, were her lifelong companions, sharing in her joys, triumphs, and challenges.
Laura found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She loved dancing, and her lively spirit was infectious to those around her. She also enjoyed visiting casinos, where she relished the thrill of the games and the camaraderie of her fellow players.
The family finds comfort in knowing that Laura's legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will continue to guide and inspire them. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and her spirit will forever be a part of their lives.
