As a hospice nurse, she provided comfort and compassion to those in their final days, offering not only her professional expertise but also her empathetic presence. Her work was a testament to her belief in the dignity of every person and her commitment to supporting families during challenging times. Laura's life was enriched by her love for her son, Cohen, who was the center of her world. She found immense joy in watching him play hockey, cheering from the sidelines with a proud smile. Her nurturing nature extended beyond her family, as she was known for her kindness and generosity to friends and strangers alike. Laura's laughter and warmth left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Predeceased by her beloved parents, David and Cathy Martin, Laura leaves behind her cherished son, Cohen, who will carry on her legacy of love and compassion.
