June 14, 1971 — June 13, 2026

Laura Arrambide Brando, born on June 14, 1971, in the serene landscapes of Germany, departed from this world just a day shy of her 55th birthday on June 13, 2026. After a valiant and brave struggle with depression, Laura has found peace. Her life was a testament to the power of love, resilience, and the profound impact one person can have on the lives of many. Laura was the cherished daughter of Severo and Rebecca Arrambide. She carried her father's wisdom and her mother's compassion throughout her life, leaving an indelible mark on everyone she met. Though preceded in death by her beloved father, Severo, Laura's spirit and strength continue to live on through her family and those she touched. For 22 years, Laura was the devoted wife of Carlos Brando. Together, they built not just a home, but a haven of love and warmth that extended far beyond their immediate family. Their marriage was an inspiring partnership, filled with mutual respect and unwavering support. Laura's legacy is most profoundly reflected in her children, Katherine Pierce (Charles), Sara Turner (Nicholas), Markie Brando, and Carlitos Brando. She was a nurturing and guiding presence in their lives, always encouraging them to pursue their dreams while remaining grounded in kindness and integrity. Her role as a mother was one of her greatest joys and achievements. Her love extended to her precious grandchild, Erith Turner, who brought a new light into Laura's life. She reveled in the role of grandmother, finding delight in every small moment and milestone shared with Erith. Laura's life will be celebrated in a private ceremony, a reflection of the intimate and personal connections she held dear. She touched many lives with her warmth, humility, and compassion, qualities that will be deeply missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Laura's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. This cause was close to Laura's heart, as she dedicated her life to the betterment of others, particularly children in need. Laura Arrambide Brando leaves behind not just a family, but a community of friends and loved ones who will forever cherish her memory. Her enduring spirit, gentle strength, and boundless love will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have known her. She will be remembered as a beacon of light, whose life was a testament to the beauty of the human spirit.
