Born on August 3, 1963, in Detroit, Michigan, Latisha graced the lives of all who knew her with warmth, kindness, and an indomitable spirit. Latisha was a beacon of light and strength, who, even as she faced the challenges of a rapidly spreading cancer, remained joyous and courageous. Her life was a testament to resilience and optimism, and she inspired those around her with her unwavering positivity. She was the cherished daughter of Lauren and Michael Johnson, who instilled in her the values of compassion and integrity that she carried throughout her life. Latisha's legacy is carried forward by her loving family, including her three grandchildren, who adored their "Nana," and one great-grandchild, who brought her immense joy. Latisha had a profound impact on everyone she met. Her laughter was infectious, her love boundless, and her dedication to her family and community unwavering. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth and welcome, where she often hosted gatherings filled with love, laughter, and delicious meals. As we gather to honor her memory, we remember a woman whose life was a gift to all who had the privilege of knowing her. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, they ask that donations be made to cancer research in Latisha's name, to continue the fight against the disease that took her from us too soon. As we say goodbye, we hold onto the special message from Latisha’s family: "Forever in our hearts." Latisha Johnson's legacy will live on in the love she gave, the memories she created, and the lives she touched. Rest in peace, Latisha. Your courage, grace, and love will always be remembered.
