November 11, 1979 — April 7, 2026

It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, and friend, the late Mr. Jerry Onluemi, who departed this world on April 7, 2026, at the age of 46. Born on November 11, 1979, in Nigeria, Jerry's life, though brief, was filled with love, laughter, and dedication to those he held dear. Jerry was the cherished son of Mr. Sam and Olivia Onluemi. His radiant spirit touched the lives of many, and his gentle soul left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know him. A loving brother, Jerry is predeceased by his dear brother, Wale, with whom he shared countless memories and an unbreakable bond. An alumnus of CMS, Jerry was a dedicated student whose thirst for knowledge was matched only by his kindness and humility. He carried these same qualities into his professional life, where he worked diligently at Greenwich. His colleagues remember him not only for his hard work and professionalism but for his infectious smile and the warmth he brought into the workplace. Jerry's career was a testament to his commitment to excellence and his unwavering dedication to his duties. Though he left us far too soon, Jerry's spirit remains a guiding light for his family and friends. His passing was due to complications from high blood pressure and an asthmatic attack, conditions he faced with courage and resilience. A service to honor and celebrate Jerry's life will be held at Yaba, with the address at Yaba Atan. Friends, family, and all those whose lives Jerry touched are invited to join in remembrance of a life well-lived, albeit too brief. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to JMS, an organization close to Jerry's heart, reflecting his generous spirit and desire to make a positive impact in the world. Though Jerry did not have grandchildren or great-grandchildren, his legacy lives on in the hearts of his family and friends. The love he gave freely and the joy he spread so generously will continue to inspire those who knew him. In loving memory, his family shares this special message: "Bro, you left too soon. May your soul rest in peace.” Jerry's life was a blessing, and his memory a treasure; he is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. May we honor Jerry's memory by embodying the love, kindness, and warmth he shared with us all. Rest in peace, dear Jerry, knowing you are forever cherished and remembered.
