In Loving Memory

Larry Washington Jr.
October 15, 1998 — October 6, 2026
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Larry Washington Jr., who left this world peacefully at his home on October 6, 2026. Born on October 15, 1998, in Calhoun, Georgia, Larry graced the lives of those around him with his warmth, humor, and unyielding love for family.
Larry was the beloved son of Susan Hill and Larry Washington Sr., who survive him and continue to honor his memory with love. He was predeceased by his cherished grandmother, Nancy Bonds, whose spirit he carried with him throughout his life.
A proud graduate of Coosa Valley Technical College, Larry was a man who found joy in the simplest pleasures. Whether it was spending time outdoors, where he felt most at peace, or sharing a hearty laugh with loved ones, he lived life with an open heart and a playful spirit. His ability to bring a smile to anyone's face was a testament to his light-hearted nature and generous soul.
Larry is survived by his devoted parents, Larry Washington Sr. and Susan Hill, who will forever cherish the time they had with him. His sisters, Melissa Boone (Terry Boone), Cassandra Dew (Katrova Dew), Tonya Winters (preceded by John Winters) and Whitney Washington (Timothy Glynn), will remember him as a loving brother who was always ready with a joke to brighten their day. Larry was also a proud uncle to his nieces, Karavin Dew, Jahlaynia Winters, and Jericka Holliday, and nephews, Justin Winters, Katrova Dew, and Legend Glynn, who will carry forward his legacy of laughter and love.
Though our hearts are heavy with his departure, we find solace in the memories we shared and the love he gave so freely. Larry's spirit will continue to inspire us to live joyfully, embrace our loved ones, and find happiness in nature's embrace.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Larry's memory to a charity of your choice, reflecting his generous spirit and love for the world around him.
Larry Washington Jr. will forever be remembered as a beacon of joy and a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. His laughter and warmth will be missed, but never forgotten.
