In Loving Memory of Larry Flemons Larry Flemons, affectionately known as "TY," passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2026 at 6:45 am, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and resilience. Born on May 24, 1970, in St. Louis, MO, Larry was the cherished son of the late Alfred, Sr. and Audrey Flemons. He was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings Cheryl and Alfred Jr., his daughter Tyeisha (Esha Boo) Flemons, and his beloved Uncle Allen Flemons and his Shea (Shake and Bake). Larry's journey through life was marked by his unwavering love for his family, his passion for music, and his witty humor. He was educated in the St. Louis Public School System and later excelled in ROTC. His academic journey continued at Sanford-Brown College, where he showcased his leadership skills as class President. Throughout his career, Larry demonstrated a strong work ethic, contributing his talents to the U City School District, IMOs Pizza, Schnucks, and Sentry Security Agency. His commitment to his community was evident through his associations with the House of Judah Ministries and Cathedral of Praise Development Center. Larry's hobbies included a fondness for music, seek-and-find word puzzles, and tinkering with automobiles. He enjoyed watching shows like The First 48 and Storage Wars and was known to engage in a spirited game of dominoes. His unique sayings, such as "Hey Mister," "I ain’t no Damn Dummy," and "I’m loved by few and hated by many," Babe never let them see you sweet were a testament to his distinctive personality and sense of humor. Larry was the beloved partner of Bertha Doyle Sneed, the love of his life, and a devoted father to Lakisha Martin. He was a supportive brother to Dominic (Fanetta Hampton) Flemons and Carmalita Flemons, and a loving grandfather to Tahja Martin, Johnathan West, Mikayla, Cashmere, and Dakota, cherished niece Kayla (KD) Flemons, very dear to him Aunt Patricia Woodson. Larry's family extended beyond blood, as he cherished, his bonus aunt Marilyn (Peaches) Jones, and his bonus children Ecleazic, Quartez, and Tierra. He also leaves behind a host of bonus grandchildren, brothers and friends from the Courts who will forever hold his memory dear. The Flemons family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered kind thoughts, prayers, words of comfort, telephone calls, text messages, and presence during this time of transition from Earth to Heavenly rewards. A celebration of Larry's life will be held on October 16, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Cotten Branch Mortuary and Cremation Services, located at 118 N Florissant Rd, St Louis, MO 63135. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice in Larry's honor. Larry was truly a unique individual whose love and laughter and facial expression touched many. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
