It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Larry James Lewis, who left this world on April 2, 2026. Born on December 15, 1963, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Larry was a beacon of kindness and warmth in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. Larry was the beloved son of Frank and Nellie Lewis, who predeceased him. He shared a beautiful life with his cherished wife, Janet Hamilton-Lewis, whom he married on May 4, 2001, in Nowata, Oklahoma. Together, they spent 19 wonderful years building a home filled with love, laughter, and devotion. Though Janet passed before him, their love story remains an inspiration to all who knew them. A dedicated and loving father, Larry is survived by his two devoted daughters, Nicole Boone and Amanda Boone, who were the pride and joy of his life. His legacy continues through his eight grandchildren: Bria Boone, Zackery Lawson-Holroyd, Corbin Boone, Kayson Boone, Ella Parker, Karlee Boone, Ford Parker, and the late Dutton Parker, who is lovingly remembered. An Uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Larry's sisters, Natalie Suggs husband Shane Suggs and Angela Adkins husband Gary Adkins, also survive him, sharing countless memories filled with love and laughter. Larry was blessed with a close-knit family and a treasured friend, Mario Ratliff, whose friendship enriched his life immeasurably. Larry's warmth, generosity, and ever-present smile left an indelible mark on all who crossed his path. He had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued, a testament to his inherently compassionate nature. Larry was a man of faith and a dedicated member of Community Christian Church, where he found joy and purpose in serving any maintenance needs of the church. His commitment to his faith and community was unwavering, reflecting the depth of his character and the size of his heart. In his free time, Larry found joy in the company of his family, cherishing every moment spent with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He was an ardent fan of the Green Bay Packers, And he had a passion for the excitement of WWE and Monster Truck events, often sharing these experiences with those he loved. His dedication to his family was unparalleled, and he worked tirelessly to support and provide for them. Larry's kindness and generosity touched countless lives, and he will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. As we remember Larry, we celebrate a life marked by love, laughter, and unwavering kindness. His spirit will live on in the hearts of those he loved and those who loved him.
