Larry Eugene Patrick

Larry Eugene Patrick, 81, of Rogers, AR, passed away June 10, 2026 in his home. He was born October 8, 1944, In Phoenix, AZ, the son of Wilburn and Mildred Patrick. Larry granduated from Woodlawn High School and attended A&M College in Monticello, AR with a B.B.A. in Business. Larry was a member of Sigma Tau Gama and Vice President of his Junior Class. Larry was employed by Wayerhaeuser as an Office Manager, and later, Director of Administration for Levi Strauss, National Distribution Center. Larry spent the bulk of his career as the Director of Industrial Finance for the AR Economic Development Commission traveling the U.S. working to locate new Industry for AR. He served under three Governors in their Administrations and was a member of Southern Economic Development Corporation, as well as other industry groups. In 1991, Larry and Susan moved to Rogers where Larry served as Director of Economic Development for the U.S. division of WalMart working with State and Local leaders to find uses for WalMart stores no longer in use. Many of the locations were leased to schools, hospitals and call centers. Larry was proud to be able to assist communities maintain jobs by helping communities in this manner. He retired from WalMart in 2009. Larry was known for his spirit of giving back to communities as a member of Rogers Optimist Club and by serving three terms on the Benton County Quorum Court and terms on the Rogers Chamber of Commerce. Larry is survived by his wife, Susan Webb Patrick; his daughter, Jennifer Wilson and her husband, Mike of Elkins, AR., his brother, Wendell Patrick and wife Sandy, of Calmer, and many nieces and nephews.
