It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Larry Edmund Davis, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, who left this world peacefully on June 4, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on November 11, 1943, in Portland, Maine, Larry was a beacon of love and strength to all who knew him, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, dedication, and unwavering support for his family. Larry was the cherished son of the late Edmund Davis and Rena (Shea) Davis, and the loving brother to the late Fred and Bob Davis. He is now reunited with his beloved wife, Sandra L. (Hewitt) Davis, who preceded him in death in 1985. They shared 20 wonderful years of marriage, and together they built a family grounded in love and resilience. Larry's early years were marked by a strong academic foundation and a commitment to service. He graduated from Pennsbury in 1962 and went on to earn a bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland. His dedication to his country was evident through his service in the United States Army from 1966 to 1968, where he was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War. Professionally, Larry's career was a testament to his strong work ethic and leadership. He dedicated nearly 40 years as the Director of Service and Parts at Mercedes Benz of Princeton, retiring in 2013 at the age of 70. His colleagues remember him as a diligent and principled leader, always willing to lend a hand and share his expertise. Beyond his professional achievements, Larry's life was rich with personal passions and interests. An avid fan of Penn State Football and Wrestling, he found joy in cheering on his favorite teams. He was also known for his love of Doo-Wop Oldies music, which filled his home with sweet melodies. Larry found solace and satisfaction in tending to his yard, a testament to his nurturing spirit. Above all, Larry cherished his family. He is survived by his devoted son, Brian Davis, and his wife Kristy Davis, his loving daughter, Jennifer Davis, and his four treasured grandchildren: Shealyn, Tristan, Brayden, and Trevin Davis. Larry found immense joy in spending time with his grandchildren, whether it was working out together, sharing stories, or creating lasting memories on family trips to Disney World. Larry's legacy is one of love, dedication, and resilience. He was known for his unwavering support and willingness to help his family, embodying the qualities of a true patriarch. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Fluehr III Funeral Home, located at 800 Newtown-Richboro Road, Richboro, PA 18954.
