Larry Doan, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2026, surrounded by his devoted family. Born on July 27, 1956, in Benton Harbor, MI, Larry was a cherished member of the community who touched the lives of everyone who knew him. Larry was the beloved son of Horace and Maudie Doan. He was predeceased by his father, Horace Doan, and his brother, Steven Doan. He leaves behind his loving wife, Brenda Doan, who stood by his side throughout his life, providing unwavering love and support. Larry is also survived by his beloved mother, Maudie Doan, who he cherished deeply. A devoted father, Larry is remembered fondly by his two children, Larry Prince and Mark Prince, who carry forward his legacy of kindness and love. His seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren were the light of his life, and he delighted in spending time with them, sharing stories, and creating memories that will be treasured for generations. Larry had a passion for the simple joys of life, one of which was visiting TJ’s Village Tavern in Eau Claire. There, he found pleasure in enjoying a cold beer among friends, relishing the camaraderie and warmth that these gatherings provided. A private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Larry's life, respecting his and his family’s wishes for an intimate farewell.
