Laron was the beloved son of Sharon Sykes and the late Courtney Varner. From a young age, he was surrounded by the love and guidance of his grandmother, Barbara Sykes, and grandfather, David Sykes, both of whom predeceased him. Laron's bond with his family was a cornerstone of his life, and he carried their teachings and love with him throughout his journey. A proud alumnus of Normandy High School, Laron's education was marked by a passion for learning and a curiosity about the world around him.
