LaRae Darling

LaRae Darling, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, and dedicated caregiver, passed peacefully from this life on May 22, 2026, at the age of 93, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 24, 1933, in Meridian, Idaho, LaRae was a beacon of love and compassion whose legacy will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew her. LaRae was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 73 years, Vincent Darling, with whom she shared a deep and abiding love, and her cherished daughter, Ina Darling. She leaves behind a loving family who will miss her dearly: her children Annette Brenez, Patrick (Adelle) Darling, David Darling, Kelly Darling, and Diana (Brian) Stutzmann. Her legacy also includes 15 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren, who will carry forward her spirit and values. LaRae dedicated her life to the service and care of others, working tirelessly until the age of 93 as a registered nurse at Idaho Falls LDS Hospital, HealthSouth, and HealthSouth Rehab. Her career was not just a profession but a calling, and she was known for her gentle touch, comforting words, and unwavering commitment to the well-being of her patients and family alike. A devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, LaRae was actively involved in the Relief Society throughout her life. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions and inspiring those around her to live with grace, kindness, and humility. Her church community was an extended family, providing a source of strength and fellowship that she cherished deeply. LaRae's life was a testament to the power of love, resilience, and faith. Her warmth, wisdom, and unwavering dedication to those she loved will be deeply missed but fondly remembered. Her legacy is woven into the fabric of her family and community, a lasting tribute to a life well-lived. Services to celebrate LaRae's life will be held on May 25, 2026, at 10:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 4640 E Holmes Ave, Mesa, AZ 85206. Friends and family are invited to join in honoring a remarkable woman who touched so many lives with her kindness and grace.
