It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we announce the passing of Lane Boone, a cherished son, devoted father, beloved brother, and loyal friend. Lane departed this world on March 11, 2026, a week shy of his 36th birthday, due to a tragic accident. Born on March 18, 1990, in Greenville, South Carolina, Lane was a beacon of kindness and compassion whose presence touched all who crossed his path. Lane was the beloved son of the late Gloria and Andrew Boone. He was preceded in death by his dear parents, who instilled in him the values of integrity, perseverance, and love. Lane carried their lessons with him throughout his life, becoming a pillar of strength and support to his family and community. Lane's life was a testament to the adage that family is not an important thing—it is everything. He was a devoted father to his two sons, Landon and Charlie, whose laughter and joy were the light of his life. Lane's love for them was boundless, and he took tremendous pride in their accomplishments, guiding them with a gentle hand and a nurturing spirit. He also leaves behind his two sisters, Ashley Corley and another sister, lovingly known as Cnell. Lane shared a unique and special bond with them, grounded in mutual respect and a lifetime of shared memories. His sisters remember him as a constant source of encouragement, always ready with a comforting word or a helping hand. Lane's journey was enriched by the love and companionship of his wife, with whom he shared countless adventures and cherished moments. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, love, and an unbreakable partnership. In addition to his immediate family, Lane was survived by a host of cousins, friends, and extended family members. His circle was wide, and his friendships deep, as he had an extraordinary ability to make everyone feel valued and loved. Lane's warmth and generosity knew no bounds; he was always ready to lend a listening ear or offer support to those in need. Lane was a man of many talents and passions. He had an innate curiosity and zest for life, which drove him to explore the world around him and engage with diverse experiences. Whether it was through his work, hobbies, or community involvement, Lane approached everything with enthusiasm and a commitment to excellence. As we gather to celebrate Lane's life, we remember the joy, laughter, and love he brought into our lives. Though his time with us was far too short, his impact was immeasurable. Lane lived with a heart full of love and a spirit that inspired all who knew him. A memorial service to honor Lane's remarkable life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will come together to share stories and pay tribute to a life well-lived. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Lane's memory to a charity of choice, carrying forward his legacy of kindness and generosity. Lane Boone's spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. As we say goodbye to a remarkable man, we hold onto the lessons he taught us: to love deeply, live fully, and cherish every moment. Rest in peace, dear Lane. You are forever loved and dearly missed.
