Lamont was the cherished son of Jamie Lumpkin and Tanicha Williams, who raised him with love and instilled in him the values of kindness, integrity, and dedication. As the eldest among his siblings, Lamont embraced his role with warmth and responsibility, always providing guidance and support to his sisters, Tea and Tashietta Lumpkin, and his brothers, Jaime, Sevon, and Timothy Lumpkin. His bond with his family was unbreakable, a testament to the love and unity that defined the Lumpkin family.
Educated in Salisbury, Lamont was not only a diligent student but also a gifted athlete and a passionate advocate for community service. His life was a testament to the strength of the human spirit, demonstrating that with perseverance and compassion, one could overcome any obstacle. Lamont's kind heart and generous nature were evident in his every action, from helping a neighbor to mentoring the youth in his community.
Lamont's sudden passing from a heart attack has left an irreplaceable void in our hearts. Yet, his spirit lives on in the countless lives he touched with his kindness and unyielding positivity. A celebration of Lamont's life will be held on May 30, 2026, at 1:30 PM at the Greater Emmanuel Temple COGIC, located at 1225 N King St, Hampton, VA 23669. We invite all who knew and loved him to join us in reflecting on the beautiful life he led and the enduring legacy he leaves behind.
