September 20, 1985 — May 20, 2026

It is with profound sadness and gentle reverence that we announce the passing of Lakisey Monque Branch, who departed from this world on May 20, 2026, at the age of 40. Lakisey was born on September 20, 1985, in Monroe, Georgia, and blessed the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Lakisey was the beloved daughter of Barbara Vinson and George Branch, who survive her and will forever cherish her memory. Her life was a testament to unwavering love, kindness, and quiet strength. She was predeceased by her grandfathers, George Branch and Bobby Vinson, and her dear uncle and aunt, Boris Vinson and Evette Dakota Vinson (Floyd), who she now joins in eternal peace. Lakisey’s spirit lives on in her cherished children, daughter Lakadey M. Branch and Monique Fowler (Plemings), and sons Dyler and Kyler Branch, alongside Tydra Moon. Her love for her children was the cornerstone of her life; she was a devoted stay-at-home mom whose world revolved around their happiness and well-being. Her life was enriched by the love and companionship of her best friend and the father of her children, Tyler Moon, and her steadfast friend Randy Gaither, who stood by her side through life’s journey. Her brothers, Stanzell Kelly and ShaBrian Branch, and step-sisters, Shantal and Sharee Branch, also survive her, along with her grandmothers, Claudie B. Branch and Catherine Vinson, who imparted wisdom and love that Lakisey carried throughout her life. A proud member of the Straight Street Ministry, Lakisey lived a life of service and faith, always extending a helping hand to those in need. Her quiet humility and protective nature were most evident in her devotion to her children, and her kindness and generosity knew no bounds. Even in passing, she was a beacon of hope, having selflessly donated five organs to give the gift of life to others. Lakisey attended schools in Walton County and earned her GED, later working in the food industry. However, her most treasured role was that of a mother, ensuring her boys were nurtured and loved. She delighted in taking them on adventures to parks and eateries, creating memories filled with laughter and joy. An exceptional cook, Lakisey’s warmth was felt through the meals she lovingly prepared. Her life will be celebrated with a service on June 6, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel, located at 1338 Gratis Road, Monroe, GA. Family, friends, and all whose lives she touched are invited to honor her legacy. Though quiet and humble, Lakisey’s legacy of love and compassion will forever echo in the hearts of those she leaves behind. Her light continues to shine brightly through her children and the countless lives she touched with her generosity and kindness. May she rest in eternal peace, forever remembered and cherished by all who knew and loved her.
