She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and an unwavering spirit that touched all who had the privilege of knowing her. Kecia was a beacon of light, known for her infectious laugh and a sense of humor that could brighten even the darkest of days. Kecia's life was rich with love and family. She is survived by her beloved son, Cody Moseley, who was her pride and joy. Her spirit lives on in her sister Becca, her husband Steve, and their children, Jonathan, Kaylee, Connor, Lillee, and Elle. Her brother Troy and his wife Shannon, along with their children Nathan, Andy, and Riley, cherished her dearly. Her brother Steve and his wife Heidi, with their children Bryce, Tanner, Alexus, and Gunnar, shared countless joyful moments with her. She also leaves behind her two younger brothers, Matt and JJ, who adored their sister. Kecia was the cherished daughter of Jerry Chilcote, Carol Chilcote, Mary Van Dyken, and Sam De Silvia, who nurtured her with love and guidance throughout her life. Her passion for animals was evident to all who knew her. An avid animal lover, Kecia had a particular fondness for sloths, Highland cows, and pigs. Her home was often filled with creative arts and crafts projects, testaments to her artistic spirit and her love for spending time with family and friends. In 2021, Kecia proudly graduated from Bellingham Technical College, earning her high school diploma. Her dedication to education was a testament to her perseverance and drive to achieve her goals, no matter the obstacles. Kecia's legacy is one of love, laughter, and resilience. Her family and friends will forever remember her for the joy she brought into their lives and the strength she displayed in the face of life's challenges. Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who loved her. In honor of Kecia's life, the family invites those who knew her to celebrate her memory by embracing the laughter, love, and compassion she shared so freely.
