Kyson Deshaun Burse Jr., a bright and beautiful soul, left our world far too soon on April 1, 2026, at the tender age of two, after a tragic building fire at his daycare in Jackson, Mississippi. Born on April 10, 2023, in the same city, Kyson was a beacon of light, bringing immeasurable joy and love to all who had the privilege of knowing him. Kyson was the cherished son of Jasmine and Shamar Jackson, who adored him beyond measure. His presence was a constant source of happiness and his smile, capable of lighting up any room, was a testament to the joy that he embodied. In his short time with us, Kyson taught us the true meaning of love, resilience, and joy. A young boy with a heart that loved deeply, Kyson was captivated by the colors blue and green. His eyes would light up when watching his favorite show, Teletubbies, and the sound of a football game, echoing his budding love for sports, always brought him comfort and happiness. He attended the TLC Child Development and Learning Center, where he was loved and nurtured by teachers and friends alike. Kyson is survived by his devoted parents, Jasmine and Shamar Jackson, who will forever treasure the precious memories of their little boy. He is predeceased by his great-grandparents, Cleroa and Henry Thompson, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms in the heavens above. The family has chosen to honor Kyson's life with a private ceremony, allowing them to hold close the memories of their beloved son in an intimate setting surrounded by those who knew him best. In a heartfelt message, Kyson's mother, Jasmine, expressed the profound love and joy her son brought into her life: "My sweet baby Kyson, From the moment you came into my life, you filled my heart with a love I never knew was possible. Your smile, your laughter, and the joy you brought into our home will stay with me forever. Though your time here was short, you gave me memories and love that will last a lifetime. I will carry you in my heart every single day. You will always be my baby, my sunshine, and my greatest blessing. Mommy loves you forever and always. 💙💚" Kyson Deshaun Burse Jr. may have had a brief journey on this earth, but the love and light he shared will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew him. His legacy of joy and love will never be forgotten.
