With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the untimely passing of Kyrus Schofield, who left us on August 22, 2026. Born on January 4, 1992, in Springfield, Missouri, Kyrus brought light and laughter into the lives of all who knew him. Kyrus was the beloved son of the late David Schofield Sr. and Christine Lambeth, who have both predeceased him. He is survived by his cherished daughter, Emma Schofield, who was the center of his world and the joy of his life. A man of many talents and passions, Kyrus pursued a career in truck driving, dedicating 16 years of his life to the open road. He also had training in medical coding, showing his diverse interests and capabilities. Outside of work, Kyrus was a proud member of the Messianic Jewish community, where he found friendship, faith, and a sense of belonging. Kyrus had a love for riding motorcycles, a passion that brought him both freedom and joy. He was also an avid drummer, finding rhythm and solace in music. His vibrant personality and infectious laughter made him a beloved friend to many. Kyrus was known for his big heart and his unwavering willingness to help others, always ready with a joke or a kind word to lift spirits. A memorial service to honor and celebrate Kyrus's life will be held on September 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Wilson Creek Funeral Home, located at 201 S Daniel Ave, Ash Grove, Missouri. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Kyrus are invited to attend and pay their respects. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the responders and all those who offered their support and assistance during this difficult time.
