September 13, 1947 — October 18, 2026

Kynn Ray Davis, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, peacefully passed away on October 18, 2026, at his home surrounded by family. Born on September 13, 1947, in Kenton, Oklahoma, Kynn lived a life defined by service, devotion, and craftsmanship. Kynn proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps, where he demonstrated remarkable dedication and bravery. After his military service, he transitioned to a career that reflected his strong sense of duty and commitment to community. He served as a highway patrol officer, where he safeguarded the roads with the utmost integrity. Later, he took to the open roads as a truck driver and then a mail carrier, delivering more than just mail — he delivered smiles and friendly conversations to all he encountered. Kynn was a man of many talents and interests, with woodworking holding a special place in his heart. He spent countless hours in his workshop, creating pieces that were as functional as they were beautiful. His handcrafted works are treasured by his family and friends, serving as enduring reminders of his skill and creativity. Above all, Kynn’s greatest joy came from his family. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 57 years, Carleta, who stood by his side through all of life's adventures. His legacy continues through his son, Willie, and his daughters, Kimberly and Misty. Kynn was a proud grandfather to three granddaughters and two grandsons, and he relished his role as a great-grandfather to one precious great-grandson. His family will forever remember his warmth, wisdom, and his stubbornness. Kynn Ray Davis will be dearly missed, yet his spirit will continue to inspire and guide those who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in eternal peace.
