Kyle Wade White, cherished son, devoted father, and beloved friend, passed away on August 13, 2026, at the age of 39. Born in the vibrant city of Portland, OR, on July 27, 1987, Kyle was a beacon of light to all who knew him. He was the beloved son of Verna Metz and the late Tom White, and brother to Keri, Nolan, Jamie, and Adam. His brother, Jerome Smalley, preceded him in death, leaving a legacy of love and resilience that Kyle carried forward.
Kyle was a proud alumnus of the Job Corp, where he earned his GED and embarked on a journey toward a degree in Nursing. His passion for helping others was evident in his work as a behavioral health technician, where he touched countless lives. Kyle had the unique ability to connect with individuals, offering mentorship and understanding to those grappling with mental health challenges and addiction.
His dedication to service extended beyond his professional life. Kyle served his country with honor in the US Army, bravely deploying to the Middle East. His commitment to duty and country was matched only by his devotion to his family and community.
Kyle's greatest joy was his family. He was a loving father to his two sons, Kevin and Kaleb, who were the center of his world. Whether fishing together or sharing stories, Kyle cherished every moment spent with his boys, imparting his love for nature and the great outdoors.
With an infectious smile and a playful spirit, Kyle brought joy to every room he entered. His love of Viking lore, coupled with his goofy antics, made him a favorite among friends and family. He approached life with a sense of adventure and curiosity that inspired those around him to find joy in the everyday.
Kyle leaves behind a family that adored him, including his mother, Verna Metz, and his siblings: Keri and her husband Kevin, Nolan, Jamie and her partner Koya, and Adam with his wife Jessica. Each of them treasures the memories and love that Kyle brought into their lives.
A celebration of Kyle’s life will be held on September 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at 11650 N 35th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85029. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor the remarkable life of a man who gave so much to others.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations in Kyle’s memory to organizations supporting mental health and addiction recovery, causes Kyle passionately championed throughout his life.
Kyle Wade White will be remembered as a man of warmth, humor, and deep compassion. His legacy of love and service will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him.
