Kyle A. Straley

It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Kyle A. Straley, who left this world on October 27, 2026, at the age of 34. Born on April 27, 1992, in the beautiful coastal town of Monterey, California, Kyle was a beloved son, partner, father, brother, and friend. His sudden departure leaves a void that will be felt deeply by all who knew him. Kyle was the cherished son of Wayne A. Straley and Regina L. Straley. He was a devoted father to his precious son, Eli A. Straley, who was the light of his life. Together with his loving girlfriend of six years and the mother of his child, Saundra Escoto, Kyle built a life rich with love and laughter. A proud alumnus of San Benito High School Kyle was known for his infectious sense of humor, always eager to bring a smile to those around him. His good heart and generous nature were evident in his willingness to lend a helping hand whenever it was needed. Kyle's love for birds and nature was a passion he shared with his son Eli, creating memories that will be cherished forever. His zest for life and joy in the simple pleasures were qualities that endeared him to many. He is survived by his son Eli; Sister Ashley Straley; Uncles: Gabriel, Robert, Samuel Castillo and John Chmiel; and Aunts: Barbara, Rachel, and, Bridgett Castillo. Along with numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Extended family members. Kyle was predeceased by his Grandfather Verl Straley, Grandmother Cruz Castillo, Aunt Caroline McFarland, Aunt Debbie Chmiel, and Uncle Timothy Castillo. Kyle's life was a testament to the beauty of human connection and the joy of laughter. Though he has left us too soon, his heart will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him. He will be remembered by everyone's heart he has touched.
