In Loving Memory of Kurt Conners Kurt Conners, born on December 25, 1964, in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, United States, left this world on September 1, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and inspiration. His life was a vivid tapestry woven with strands of adventure, knowledge, and the warmest of smiles. Kurt was the beloved son of Peter and Izzy Conners, who predeceased him. He is survived by his devoted wife, Elizabeth Bar, whom he married in a beautiful ceremony in New York City in 1977. Together, they created a loving home and raised two wonderful sons, Max and Konstantin Conners, who were the light of his life. Kurt also leaves behind his cherished brother, Micheal Jackson Conners, and his close friend, Casper Kuo, who stood by him through thick and thin. A man of remarkable intellect and unyielding curiosity, Kurt pursued his passion for science with vigor. He graduated with a Ph.D. in Science from Queen's University in 1984. Shortly after, he served his country with distinction as a general in the army from 1985 to 1990. Kurt's commitment to education was evident in his long tenure as a Science Teacher at UCLA, where he taught from 1990 until 2018. His students fondly remember him for his charming smiles and the delightful treats he would often share. In 2018, Kurt embarked on a new chapter as an actor, a role that allowed him to explore his creative side until his passing. He was also an active member of The African Safari group, which reflected his deep love for adventure and wildlife. Kurt cherished the simple joys in life, particularly his fondness for playing golf with his children. These moments on the green were filled with laughter and cherished memories that his family will hold dear forever. A service to celebrate Kurt's life will be held on November 6, 2024, at 11:50 a.m. at Garry Fen, located at 520 Main St. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor a life lived with purpose and passion. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Kurt's memory to a charity of one's choice. His loving wife, Elizabeth, wishes him happy trails, a gentle farewell for a remarkable man who touched the lives of all who knew him. Kurt Conners will be deeply missed, but his spirit and the warmth of his smile will remain with us always.
