In Loving Memory of Ksean Aaron Scott
March 6, 1997 - March 29, 2025
It is with profound sadness and deep love that we announce the passing of Ksean Aaron Scott, a cherished son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend, who departed this life on March 29, 2025. Born on March 6, 1997, in the heart of Halifax, North Carolina, Ksean brought warmth and joy to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Ksean was the beloved son of Nakia Scott and the late Kendall Ross. While he is now reunited with his father, his spirit remains alive in the hearts of his surviving family: his devoted mother, Nakia Scott; his loving sister, Kyiesha Ross; his two brothers, Quandall Ross and Devon Ross; his cherished niece, Lianna Ross; his grandmothers, Paulette Brown and Rosetta Ross; his aunt, Eiron Scott; and his great aunts, Theresa and Darlene Brown. He is also remembered fondly by a wide circle of cousins and countless friends who were touched by his kindness and generosity.
Professionally, Ksean dedicated seven fulfilling years to the field of security, a role he truly enjoyed and took great pride in. His commitment to his work was mirrored by his dedication to his family and friends, with whom he shared his time generously.
Ksean had a passion for life's simple pleasures. He found joy in watching "Martin," quoting his favorite line from Hustle Man, "If you want it, I got it. If I don't have it, I can get it, so get it while the getting is GOOD." His love for movies, particularly the "Friday" series and action films, was only rivaled by his enthusiasm for sports. A die-hard Steelers fan, Ksean delighted in game days, sharing the excitement with those around him.
Above all, Ksean was a man of encouragement, known for his unwavering support and motivation for others to strive for their best. He had a unique ability to inspire those around him to push beyond their limits, always cheering them on towards success and fulfillment.
A celebration of Ksean's life will be held on April 25, 2026, at 12:00 PM at the George H. Weldon Funeral Home, located at 353 East 116th Street, New York, NY 10029. Family and friends are invited to join in remembering and honoring Ksean's remarkable life and legacy.
The family extends a special message of gratitude and love to his Grandmother Paulette Brown, His sister Ky, His Auntie Eiron, His Auntie Reesy, His Cousin Jenise, His Godmother Melinda Conte, and all his God brothers and sisters.
In this time of sorrow, let us remember the love and laughter Ksean brought into our lives. May his memory be a blessing, and may we carry his spirit forward in our hearts forever.
