Krystal Taylor Moore
October 10, 1967 — July 7, 2026
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Krystal Taylor Moore, a beloved daughter, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and dear friend, who left this world on July 7, 2026, after a brief yet courageous battle with Stage 4 lung cancer. Krystal was born on October 10, 1967, to Robert L. Taylor and Judith C. Bishop, in a life filled with love, laughter, and deep faith.
Krystal was a proud graduate of EBC Christian School in Dunn, NC, where she cultivated a love for learning that she carried throughout her life. Her deep devotion to her family was evident in every aspect of her life. As a mother to Tyler Shea Moore, Haley Celeste Moore, and Kierstyn Ashley Moore, she instilled in each of them the values of kindness, resilience, and love. Her grandchildren, Silas Caines, Ariel Caines, and Dalian Caines, were her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Krystal's life was a testament to her love for the Lord Jesus Christ, a faith that guided her through life's challenges and joys. She was known for her radiant smile, a reflection of her warm and caring nature, which she shared with all who knew her. Her devotion to her mother, Judith C. Bishop, was unwavering, as she lovingly took care of her throughout her life.
Krystal's artistic spirit shone through her love of painting, a passion that brought her peace and joy. She found solace and inspiration in the beauty of the mountains and the serenity of the beach, places she held close to her heart.
Krystal is survived by her loving mother, Judith C. Bishop, her devoted children, and her adored grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Robert J. Taylor, sister-in-law, Audrey Taylor, and her nieces and nephews, Trevor, Logan, Jaxon, and Dakota Taylor. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert L. Taylor, whose memory she held dear.
A service to celebrate Krystal's life will be held on August 15, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the East Hendersonville Baptist Church. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of a life well lived, filled with love, faith, and joy.
