Krystal Santistevan, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away suddenly at her home on October 9, 2026, after bravely facing ongoing health challenges. Born on April 19, 1985, in Ft. Collins, Colorado, Krystal's life was one of vibrant energy and boundless love.
From a young age, Krystal exhibited a zest for life that was both infectious and inspiring. This enthusiasm permeated every aspect of her life, including her varied career. After graduating from Fort Collins High School, she began working at just 15 years old in the grocery industry. Over the years, Krystal gained a wealth of experience in various fields, with a particular fondness for soldering, which remained her favorite professional endeavor. She also held roles in human resources and insurance, demonstrating her versatility and dedication until her health made it increasingly difficult to continue working.
Krystal's passions extended beyond her professional life. She had a deep love for music, a passion that she shared with the world through videos of her singing and playing the guitar. Remarkably self-taught on both the guitar and keyboard, her musical talents brought joy to those who had the privilege of hearing her play.
Those who knew Krystal will remember her for her upbeat personality and infectious laughter. Her loving heart and sense of humor were constants in her life, qualities that she generously shared with everyone around her. Krystal had an innate ability to make others feel loved and supported, always ready with a kind word or a listening ear for those in need of a friend.
Krystal is survived by her devoted mother, Rose Weng; her cherished daughter, Bradleigh Boetger; her loving brother, Brian Santistevan; and her caring sister, Kayla Holden. She also leaves behind her adored nieces, Adriana and Gabriella Holden, and her treasured nephews, Landyn and Hezekiah Holden. Though Krystal did not have grandchildren or great-grandchildren, her legacy of love and kindness will undoubtedly live on through her family and friends.
A private ceremony will be held to honor Krystal's life. Her family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has reached out, offering condolences and sharing cherished memories of their beautiful Krystal. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Krystal's memory to an organization or memorial fund of your choice that resonates with her love for music and community.
