It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kristina Kathleen Neely McTurner, a beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend. Kristina departed this world peacefully on May 25, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness that will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege to know her. She was born on October 28, 1982, in Dearborn, Michigan, to Leonard Bob Neely and Wilda Busch Coyle. Kristina was a shining light in the lives of her family and friends. Her journey began in Dearborn, where she grew up surrounded by the love and support of her family. She graduated from Taylor Kennedy High School in 2001, where she formed lifelong friendships and developed a passion for helping others. Pursuing her calling, she went on to study nursing at Henry Ford Community College, where she became a certified nursing assistant (CNA). She dedicated 20 years of her life to Fortney Eyecare, where her compassionate nature touched countless lives. In recent years, she embarked on a new chapter at Dubin Optometric Clinic in Farmington, MI, where she continued to provide care and support to those in need. Kristina was not just a healthcare professional; she was a beacon of hope and healing, known for her wit, warm smile, and the ability to make everyone feel loved and welcomed. Kristina's devotion to her faith was evident in her active membership at Northline Church in Taylor, MI. Her unwavering belief in kindness and compassion guided her life, and she was always the life of the occasion, bringing joy and laughter wherever she went. Her love for the Fourth of July was infectious, as she celebrated with family and friends, lighting up the sky with fireworks and her radiant spirit. On June 27, 2009, Kristina married the love of her life, Brandon Travis McTurner. Together, they built a beautiful family and shared countless memories. She was a devoted mother to her cherished children, Ashlyn and Bentley McTurner, who were the pride and joy of her life. Her nurturing spirit and endless love will continue to guide them as they grow. Kristina is survived by her loving mother, Wilda Coyle, who was her pillar of strength. She leaves behind her beloved children, Ashlyn and Bentley, who will carry her legacy in their hearts. She is also survived by her siblings, Kim Neely, Dean Neely, Kelly Neely, Lisa Neely, and Kevin Neely, along with many aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends who adored her. She was predeceased by her father, Leonard Bob Neely, whose memory she cherished dearly. Kristina's life was a testament to the power of love, kindness, and compassion. Her laughter, generosity, and unwavering support for those around her will forever be remembered. She touched the lives of everyone she met, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts. A celebration of Kristina's life will be held at Northline Church in Taylor, MI, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and share the beautiful stories that defined her life. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Kristina's name to a charity of your choice, reflecting her spirit of giving and love. Though Kristina is no longer with us, her spirit lives on in the hearts of those she loved. Her legacy of kindness and compassion will continue to inspire us all.
