Kristin Mandaric

Kristina Mandaric, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully from natural causes on July 6, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on January 18, 1947, in the quaint town of Burum, Germany, Kristin's life was a tapestry woven with love, compassion, and dedication to those she cherished. In 1965, Kristina married the love of her life, Ivan Mandaric, embarking on a beautiful journey that spanned more than six decades. Together, they built a family filled with warmth and unity, raising their sons Arnold and Michael. Kristin was predeceased by her dear son, John, whose memory she held close to her heart. Kristina's career was one of steadfast service and commitment. She devoted over 30 years to working as a custodian, beginning at Ogden Street School and later transferring to Hammarskjold High School, where she served until her retirement in 2012. Her work ethic and dedication left a lasting impression on colleagues and students alike. A woman of simple pleasures, Kristina found joy in knitting, taking leisurely walks, and most importantly, being around family. Her grandchildren, Branden, Ashton, and Paytyn, were the light of her life. Kristina's generous spirit and unwavering kindness touched everyone fortunate enough to know her, leaving a legacy of love and compassion. Kristina's life will be celebrated on July 13, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Sargent and Sons Funeral Home, located at 21 North Court Street. Family, friends, and all whose lives she touched are invited to join in honoring her remarkable journey. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice, honoring Kristina's generous spirit and her lifelong commitment to helping others. Kristina Mandaric will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by her surviving husband Ivan, sons Arnold (Kristin) and Michael (Jane), her cherished grandchildren, and a host of friends and family. Her memory will forever be a guiding light in the hearts of those she loved.
