It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kristie Michelle Green, who left this world peacefully on July 24, 2026, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center after a courageous and brief battle with cancer. Born on May 31, 1974, in Vicksburg, Mississippi, Kristie was a beacon of love and warmth to all who knew her. Kristie was the cherished daughter of the late James and Frankie Reaves and is preceded in death by her brothers, Mike Henderson, Ken Henderson, and Kenny Reaves. Although we mourn her departure, we find solace in the enduring legacy she leaves behind through her family and the love she bestowed upon them. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband James “Bo” Green; two wonderful sons, Christian Green (married to Madison) and Caleb Green (fiance Addie); five beloved grandchildren: Emory, Frankie, Kayson, Sadie, and Bodie; brother Damon Henderson (Peggy); sister Donna Reaves. Kristie was a woman of remarkable qualities; her family was her world. She spent every free moment in their company, creating cherished memories and imparting her boundless love and affection. Her devotion was evident in every embrace, every meal shared, and every story told. Kristie’s presence was a gift, her love a treasure, and her legacy a testament to the strength and beauty of familial bonds. A service to honor Kristie’s life will be held on July 29, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Oak Grove Baptist Church, located at 790 Phoenix Road, Bentonia, Mississippi. Family, friends, and all those whose lives were touched by Kristie’s kindness and generosity are invited to join in celebrating the life of this extraordinary woman. As we say farewell to Kristie, we hold her memory close, finding comfort in the love she shared, which will continue to illuminate our hearts and guide us through the days ahead.
